At the Connecticut Comprehensive Center for Hernia Repair, a team of highly-skilled specialists provides today’s most advanced management of all types of hernias, including both traditional and minimally-invasive surgical options.

Our surgeons use the newest prosthetic materials (meshes) during surgery to help reduce pain and promote speedy healing. As faculty of a university hospital, our surgeons work closely with researchers in the Center for Biomaterial Research to continuously develop and test new mesh products.
